Free Speech

  • "I do believe in Freedom of Speech. And I don't just believe in Freedom of Speech because we're having ours taken away. Now obviously in Schools, I believe in just teaching the Truth. It's not, I don't have to call what I believe in 'Propaganda', 'cause it isn't Propaganda, it's true. You know, when I'm teaching Children about english Kings and Romans and Greeks, it's the Truth. I just want to teach them the Truth, which means that Henry VIII wasn't some, um, Guy with an Afro and dark Skin, he was a Guy with ginger Hair, that was who Henry VIII was. I don't want to see black Vikings, because black Vikings didn't exist. And for me, that's really the Crux of the Matter, teach the Truth in Schools. But when it comes to free Speech between Adults, free Speech between, um, grown Animals, I have nothing to Fear by letting Communists speak what they want to speak, because I know that in a free and open Society, where genuine Debate and genuine Discourse is the Order of the Day, they can't beat us in Arguments. The Reason there isn't free Speech today, the Reason you can't talk about Nationalism, the Reason you can't talk about certain historical Occurrences, is because they fear us talking about them, because they know they can't debate with us. And when you see People like Sargon crack and crumble and become jibbering Wrecks in Front of Richard Spencer, it's because they have no Arguments, because really they're the ones that want to shut down free Speech, because they fear what we have to say."[4]
    • Answering Question: "Are we going to remain committed to free Speech if we get more popular?"[5]

Richard Spencer

  • "I've never, ever seen Richard Spencer say anything that's been disastrous or bad and when I've seen him debate with People, especially with the Press, he always outdoes them quite easily."[6]
